To support the livelihood of farmers and fisherfolk in Western Visayas, the Land Bank of the Philippines (LANDBANK) conducted its AGRISENSO Plus Lending Program at Pototan Astrodome on Friday, July 11.
This initiative is in collaboration with government agencies including the Department of Agriculture (DA), Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR), along with other private sectors and stakeholders.
About 1,800 Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs) across various municipalities in the province of Iloilo have benefited from the lending program, providing accessible financing to the agriculture and fisheries sector from across the region.
The said program provides four percent (4%) fixed interest rate per annum for farmers, fisherfolk, and ARBs. Special rates are also available for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), large-scale business, and agriculture graduates.
