City gov’t opens USWAG Atipan Center, providing services for Ilonggos

The Iloilo City Government opened its Uswag Atipan Center — a place uniting various services including health, housing, livelihood, education, and social support which are accessible for Ilonggos — on August 18, 2025.
Located at the 7th floor of the Iloilo City Hall, the opening was led by Mayor Raisa Treñas. The services provided by the center were made inclusive for the welfare of Ilonggos.
Various services that were provided include:
* Social Services – case study, children and women’s welfare, mass wedding and baptism, LGBT grooming, senior citizen ID and incentives
* Health & Dental Services – consultations, maternity care, immunizations, dentures, dialysis, laboratory tests
* Livelihood & Education – Tech Voc and NC 2 trainings, scholarships, job opportunities
