Daughter of late Vice Mayor Lamasan joins Dueñas Council

Yzabelle Annika Lamasan Padojinog, 22, daughter of the late Vice Mayor Aimee Paz Lamasan, formally took her oath of office as the newest Sangguniang Bayan Member before Governor Arthur Defensor Jr. on Thursday, January 22, 2026.
She assumed the vacant council seat following the succession of SB Member Pia June Pama as Vice Mayor. Present during the ceremony were her grandmother, former Vice Mayor Pangga Lamasan Piccio, grandparents Elno Lamasan and Ella Salazar Lamasan, Dueñas Mayor Robert Martin Pama, and other family members.
Her nomination was endorsed by the Nacionalista Party (NP), led by Fourth District Congressman Ferjenel Biron.
In her message, Padojinog vowed to continue the programs and projects of her late mother, emphasizing her commitment to work closely with barangays to address community needs.
Currently a graduating student of the University of San Agustin with a degree in BS Foreign Service, she has built a strong record of leadership and academic excellence. She served as Chief Justice of the University of San Agustin Student Government in 2025 and held key roles in the San Agustin Model Congress, Student Judicial Court, and debate societies.

She completed her elementary and secondary education at Ateneo de Iloilo. Beyond academics, she has worked as a Mandarin teacher at the University of San Agustin and as a barista at Starbucks.
